Our Guiding Beliefs

“Fairfield Friends Church exists to lead people
into a transformational relationship with Jesus that changes the world around them”

Biblically Based: All teaching, preaching and practices shall be based on the inspired Word of God as revealed in Jesus and the Scriptures.

Spirit Driven: We seek to be led in our attitudes and actions by the Holy Spirit who indwells each true follower of Jesus Christ.

Prayerful: We seek to cover every decision in prayer corporately and individually. Communication with the Father through Jesus guided by the Holy Spirit keeps us in tune with the will and mind of God.

Others First: We will by God’s grace work as a team to reach the lost of Fairfield and beyond by giving, serving, helping and caring for the spiritual and physical needs of the community God places on our heart.

Family Friendly: We seek to create an environment here at Friends Church that encourages the whole family. By generously investing in our parents, teens and children, we hope to help preserve the family.

Disciple-Making: As Kingdom-minded followers of Christ we are called to be a healthy disciple who makes a healthy disciple. We will be intentional and deliberate about multiplying ourselves and training the next generation of leaders by educating, equipping, and encouraging committed disciples to fulfill the great commission.

Always Growing: Disciples should always be maturing in their faith through personal study of the Word of God, prayer, worshipping with a local body of believers, exercising their spiritual gifts in ministry and mission, preserving the unity of the church, and being open to change and mutual accountability.

Place of Grace: Love will be the motivation as we treat all who come to our fellowship with grace and mercy. We will comfort and encourage all, especially those who are broken-hearted.
