Good Morning,

Today’s readings are: 2 Samuel 13:1-39, John 17:1-26, Psalm 119:81-96, &
Proverbs 16:6-7

Unity

“I have given them the glory you gave me, so they may be one as we are one.
I am in them and you are in me. May they experience such perfect unity that
the world will know that you sent me and that you love them as much as you
love me. John 17:22-23 (NLT)

Imagine the influence Christians would have on the world if we had unity. If
all the Christians in the USA could unite, we would be a powerful force. We
would determine the course of our nation.

But alas, unity is not found. Christians are divided.

Let unity start in our homes and our churches, then perhaps unity can be
found amongst the churches within our denominations. Then perhaps churches
can begin to unite together to reach the world around us.

These verses were a part of a prayer Jesus prayed before He was arrested.
